Develop practical and written skills in communication, build an understanding of the nature of physical, oral and written presentation, and develop teamwork skills including conflict resolution and team management.
Course learning outcomes
- Develop and apply effective written, verbal, and digital communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences in professional ICT contexts.
- Analyse ethical issues in ICT, including privacy, security, and professional responsibility, using established ethical frameworks and industry standards.
- Work effectively in diverse teams by applying collaboration strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and best practices for teamwork in ICT projects.
- Examine the responsibilities, expectations, and professional standards of ICT practitioners, including adherence to codes of conduct and legal requirements.
- Apply fundamental project management concepts, such as planning, risk management, and PMBOK to ICT projects.
- Identify key IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements, demonstrating how they impact ICT decision-making and organizational success.
