Course overview

The aim of this course is to derive a design from a set of system requirements. Participate in design studio to design a viable product; contribute to teams to bring output to stakeholders; and understand the employment market.

Course learning outcomes

  • Develop a high level system design based on a set of requirements.
  • Apply composition, decomposition and abstraction techniques to generate a component structure for design.
  • Verify design against requirements to confirm validity of design.
