Course overview

The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape governing cyberspace and privacy, encompassing Australian and international laws, policies and industry practices. Through critical analysis and evaluation, they will develop the skills to assess the sufficiency and effectiveness of existing legal frameworks in addressing cyber-related challenges faced by government, business, and society. By exploring legal, ethical and technological perspectives, students will be able to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, fostering a holistic approach to navigating the complexities of cyber law, policy and privacy.
