Course overview
The aim of this course is to facilitate the writing of a final thesis cognisant of the main research methods as well as theoretical debates reflecting specialised knowledge in the student's broader discipline area. In consultation with an academic supervisor, students will undertake substantial research on an approved subject in their area of specialisation, leading to a major project or thesis. The focus of this course concentrates on the finalising of the written thesis, including processing and the analysis of the collected data and consideration of ethical implications for the evolving nature of the media landscape. Assessment in this course, together with work completed in Research Thesis 1 will contribute to the presentation of an 18,000 word thesis.
