Course overview
The aim of this course is to develop students' knowledge of the approaches to Aboriginal health, and social and emotional wellbeing. Students will explore national and international approaches to colonialism, racism and social injustice and the positioning of the professional working in this field, and will examine the applicability of community development and primary health care ideas for current social problems, such as family violence, substance misuse and social alienation.
