Course overview

The aim of this course is to explore current challenges and trends shaping the global business landscape, emphasising their impact on multinational enterprises and strategies for navigating complex international environments. Students will develop nuanced understandings of a range of contemporary issues and debates in international business, and develop the skills and knowledge that will enable them to keep abreast of the rapid changes and developments in the global marketplace. The topics covered in the course will provide in-depth understanding of the political, economic, social and other contextual factors that influence the operations of businesses (from small-scale entrepreneurial ventures to multinational enterprises (MNEs)).
