The aim of this course is to develop an advanced understanding of adapted physical activity and exercise for health and wellbeing.
Course learning outcomes
- Discuss the social and environmental factors that affect participation in adapted and physical activity exercise and sport.
- Critically evaluate the importance of adapted physical activity exercise and sport and the benefits of regular participation for all.
- Demonstrate how physical activity, exercise and sport can be adapted using contemporary guidelines and principles of inclusion.
- Demonstrate effective professional and respectful communication and presentation skills.
