Course overview

To enable students to understand the integral link between organisational change and organisational sustainability and equip students with understanding the politics and processes involved in leading and managing organisational change.

Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate the ability, both individually and in teams, to apply organisational development and change theories and models, using established and emerging approaches, and technological tools, to diagnose, design and plan organisational change.
  • Effectively communicate, critically evaluate, and apply change management strategies that integrate leadership principles, and stakeholder management techniques, to facilitate successful organisational change in a dynamic global context.
  • Integrate key organisational culture and agility principles to develop actionable, innovative, ethical and sustainable change initiatives.
  • Critically assess the impact of change initiatives using appropriate evaluation frameworks that support continuous improvement and long-term organisational effectiveness.
