Course overview
This course develops students advanced knowledge of the role and impact of international human resource management on management decision making, business strategy, and business conduct within the international, global and cross-cultural contexts. Delving into human resource activities and issues pertaining to international firms, this course explores the impact of globalisation and internationalisation on the way such firms deal with their human resources in terms of human resource planning, staffing, performance management, training and development, compensation and industrial relations. Students are assessed through their reflection, presentation and report.
