Course overview

This course examines how the physical environment can be designed and managed to achieve desired event outcomes for businesses and consumers. Through the lens of environmental management, it examines how event experiences are shaped by physical settings on a range of spatial scales.

Course learning outcomes

  • Analyse factors which create diversity in the type and form of cultural venues
  • Compare and evaluate the impact of stakeholder relationships at different spatial scales
  • Synthesise the relationship between environmental settings and service quality
