Course learning outcomes
- Discuss and assess the ways in which the tourism industry uses food, wine, drinks, and festivals as nuclei for special interest tourism (including creative tourism) locally and internationally.
- Critique multiple contexts and theories of festivals, food and wine tourism from the creative industry perspective.
- Analyse the emerging characteristics of tourist markets, products and services offered by food, wine and festival industries.
- Propose new food, wine and festival enterprise opportunities in the context of creative tourism.
