The aim of the course is to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to propose creative experiential products in the highly competitive sector of tourism, events, and hospitality. The course integrates foundational tourism theory and design thinking to develop business strategy.

- Research global and local market trends to identify business opportunities for development of a new experiential product in tourism, events, and hospitality
- Propose a creative product idea and justify its relevance to the tourism events and hospitality industry
- Devise an appropriate business and marketing strategy for the implementation of a proposed product
- Apply relevant course concepts and theory to idea generation and implementation strategy
- Communicate an idea for an experiential product as appropriate for industry and academic audiences
