The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of epidemiological concepts.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of descriptive epidemiology, different types of rates of disease and the principles of causation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic study designs used in epidemiological research.
- Demonstrate an understanding of concepts of risk and disease and the association between them.
