Course overview
This course aims to equip students with foundational concepts and skills for research in health sciences. Introducing concepts of health and research, this course provides knowledge on research methods, interpretation of research outputs and critical appraisal of literature. Furthermore, this course will enhance students’ skill and confidence in oral, written and interpersonal communication equipping students with the capacity to provide and communicate solutions and knowledge to others. Expanding students' awareness of future career pathways and understanding the relevance of essential skill development required to achieve career success will be explored. This course aligns with the intent of programs from the health sciences field to provide a comprehensive ability to find, interpret and apply research methods, preparing learners for careers across diverse health settings.
