Course overview

The aim of this course is to explore ethics within the context of health. In this course, you will be introduced to a range of different approaches to thinking about ethics. You will focus on core ethical issues in health care practice such as end-of-life decision making, research ethics and ethical issues at the beginning of life. By examining real-world case studies, you will develop an understanding of ethical practice and the complex ethical challenges faced by health care providers. This course prepares you with the foundational knowledge needed to become an effective health professional.
