Course overview
This course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of digital and visual design. It aims to equip students with the necessary skills to effectively use design tools, evaluate and implement visual communication strategies, and assess the impact of new digital technologies on an organisation's communication efforts. Students will learn about visual design tools, digital platforms and audio-visual production, and the briefing processes involved in design projects. Learners will conceptualise and create designs for branding and promotion, evaluate the form, functionality and effectiveness of digital design, and critique the impact of design decisions on user experience.

- Apply theoretical principles and design conventions to analyse digital and traditional forms of communication
