Course overview

This course will require students to engage with professional practitioners, business, industry and government organisations in the development of design projects. To professionalise student design knowledge and expertise through experiential studio projects and direct industry engagement. Students will apply their specialised knowledge through individualised creative and industry-oriented projects to a professional standard. Student projects will involve work integrated opportunities, projects involving external stakeholders; professionally oriented projects; projects based on competition or award briefs. Through direct interaction with industry alongside project-based approaches, students will gain insight into the expected professional behaviour of a design practitioner.
