Course overview

Via seminars and practice-based studio sessions, students will develop theoretical knowledge and foundational skills in the processes and principles of 2D and Stop Motion animation specific to professional practice. Utilising industry standard software, students will create animations using a variety of digital and analogue mediums. This will advance student knowledge of the animation production pipeline. Supporting this, students will conduct structured research and analysis of pictorial content, context and structure, relevant to animation.
