Course overview
This course explores connections between nutrition in early life nutrition and its impact on our metabolism, physiology, and metabolism and healthy ageing. A healthy start to life is critical and nutritional imbalances early in life can increase chronic disease risk. We are living longer, and this comes with an additional set of nutritional challenges. The aim of this course is for students to investigate how early life nutrition impacts future chronic disease risk and nutrition and metabolism are linked with healthy ageing.
