Course overview

The course is to provide practical and theoretical experience in a number of important chemical engineering unit operations ensuring a thorough understanding of the principles of unit operations and experimental methods, design and data analysis. The course includes experimental design and development, experimental execution, data analysis and error analysis, safe operating procedures and risk assessment, skills development in oral presentation, technical report writing, and team-building. This course aligns with the programs intent to demonstrate a chemical engineering body of knowledge and apply this knowledge along with critical thinking, creativity, and innovation for industrial and real-life complex problems.
