Course overview
This course incorporates techniques of acquiring and building spatial data in the field and office environments, and then the analysis and presentation of various spatial data in GIS software packages.
Course learning outcomes
- Differentiate between various spatial data types, structures and sources
- Digitise, manage, analyse, and map spatial data
- Capture, integrate, process and present field data
- Communicate the process of spatial data acquisition and analysis in written format and then critically reflect upon the process to further professional development
