- Analyse modulation schemes mathematically in time and frequency domain
- Compare modulation schemes with respect to characteristics and performance
- Evaluate properties of modulation schemes with computer simulations
- Appraise the characteristics of building blocks for transmitters and receivers
- Apply block diagrams to describe modulators and demodulators
