To re-examine the purpose and aspirations of Islamic schooling in relation to the 3 message systems of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment. Drawing on Islamic Pedagogy, students enact an action research project relevant and urgent to their school context.

- Critically analyse the contested nature of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment
- Critically analyse diverse curriculum models, pedagogical approaches, and assessment methods employed in Islamic schools in relation to distinct visions, perspectives, and aims
- Apply Islamic Pedagogy in the redesign of curriculum programming for purpose, coherence, and alignment
- Reflexively consolidate the journey across the program and critically reflect on implications for renewal of Islamic schools
