Course overview

This course will introduce and develop an understanding of the Australian Curriculum content, goals, purposes, and methods of teaching Design and Technologies, in various contexts. It explores the theoretical practice and pedagogical approaches to teaching Design and Technologies, including knowledge of workshop spaces. It explores how to apply this knowledge to respond to design opportunities and challenges through student-centred authentic learning experiences. It ensures preparation for working within a body of knowledge as a teacher of Design and Technology.
