Course overview
This course aims to develop students' understanding and use of English grammar to teach a range of text types across academic disciplines and Year Level curricula. More particularly, it equips students with knowledge of how grammar relates to meaning making and literacy, and how different academic disciplines use grammar to make specialised meanings for their own purposes. Students will also learn how to develop language-aware pedagogical strategies, resources and assessments relevant and effective in promoting learning across academic disciplines and the curriculum.
Course learning outcomes

- Apply a range of pedagogical strategies and frameworks to teach grammar relevant to different academic disciplines and across Year Level curricula, including various techniques for gathering, assessing and reflecting on evidence of student learning
