To develop a research proposal which is accepted by a colloquium called together by the program director and/or supervisor.
Course learning outcomes
- Develop a proposal that is well connected to the existing literatures.
- Develop a proposal that is justified in terms of its contribution and its significance at this time.
- Develop a proposal that is epistemologically coherent across all aspects of the design, including the nature of the research problem, the methodology and methods.
- Develop a proposal that is based on a clearly stated research problem.
- Develop a proposal that is manageable and ethical.
