Course overview

Knowing oneself is a fundamental step in leading others. In this course, students will explore the theory of personal leadership. Recent developments in education highlight the complexities of leadership roles. These include issues of increased compliance, and challenges facing educational settings have emphasised the need for educational leaders to know and understand themselves first before leading teams. Students in this course will evaluate the impact of personal leadership in a diversity of contexts using a case study approach.
