Course overview
In this course, students will explore the dimensions of human learning and its facilitation in different social contexts Students will explore the personal and social dimensions of the learning process. Students will learn the classification of knowing, experiencing and learning and the theories of learning development as they apply to different stages of life.
Course learning outcomes
- Explore the relationship between learning and development across a person's lifespan
- Explore the foundations of different approaches to learning
- Analyse a range of approaches to understanding learning
- Evaluate barriers to learning and how they can be managed
- Critically evaluate a range of ways in which learning can be facilitated.

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
