Course overview

In this course, students will explore the dimensions of human learning and its facilitation in different social contexts Students will explore the personal and social dimensions of the learning process. Students will learn the classification of knowing, experiencing and learning and the theories of learning development as they apply to different stages of life.

  • Explore the foundations of different approaches to learning
  • Analyse a range of approaches to understanding learning
  • Evaluate barriers to learning and how they can be managed
