Course overview

This course aims to develop critical understanding and appropriate policy and curriculum content knowledge required by teachers to teach Aboriginal students, and to teach all students about Aboriginal histories, cultures, and languages as required by the Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework and AITSLs Professional Standards for Teachers 1.4 and 2.4.

  • Critique, evaluate and apply evidence based anti-deficit approaches to education in diverse Aboriginal contexts
