Course overview

This course aims to introduce students to the theories of instructional leadership through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning leadership. Students will explore current leadership theories related to leading learning and teaching and how to lead for assessment, measurement, and evaluation. Furthermore, students will explore how to interrogate evidence for learning and teaching to develop strategies to enhance learning and teaching outcomes. These aims will be contextualised in schools and education systems to develop approaches to improving student learning outcomes.
