Course overview
This course is an introduction to the application of research approaches, concepts and skills applicable to future research projects. It will investigate research paradigms and designs that cover the full range of qualitative and quantitative approaches available. The goal is to broaden students' understandings of research and equip them with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to plan educational research. Students will work collaboratively as part of a group to develop a research plan and prepare an individual research proposal in relation to a topic that is relevant to professional practice.
