Course overview

To study drama as a philosophy of self, of political change, within inclusive arts practice and as a catalyst for transformation in the adolescent.

Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate an understanding of cultural diversity and political theatre methodology in drama
  • Value and appreciate inclusive arts practice
  • Apply an understanding of the contribution of drama to students' well-being and transformation
  • Understand adolescent behaviour and formulate planning for the secondary school learner in drama and creative arts learning areas
