Course overview
This course aims to introduce and examine early literacy theories and practices and multimodal literature for children of diverse backgrounds and experiences, including in English and multicultural and multilingual contexts, and to develop skills in the areas of multimodal text production for children in the early years. Students will learn to use quality literature and writing processes to support learning about literary and imaginative writing.
