Course overview
This course aims to support students to understand how educational psychology and the theories of learning relate to contemporary teaching practices and incorporate this knowledge into their teaching and learning strategies.
Course learning outcomes
- Critically analyse major theories of learning as they apply to the learner
- Crticially analyse and employ teaching strategies that respond to the relationship between learning theory and the characteristics of learners
- Articulate students’ own learning and teaching philosophy, values and beliefs
