To enable students to enhance their knowledge and critical understandings of workplaces as sites for learning.

Course learning outcomes

  • articulate a personal/professional position relating to workplace/s as learning sites
  • identify varieties of learning and learning opportunities that occur in workplaces, and associated theories
  • analyse political, economic and equity related issues and challenges relating to workplaces as learning sites
  • develop novice researcher skills associated with investigating workplaces as learning sites
