This course provides an introduction to the minerals and geo-energy industries of Australia, as well as the geology and mineralogy of major ore deposits including copper, gold and iron.

  • Understand the nature and importance of the Australian Resource Industry
  • Describe the variety of mineral deposits and how they are found and formed
