Course overview
This course provides students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional environment. Students will complete a practical or research-based internship in criminology and criminal justice. The internship is designed to provide students with a real opportunity to gain insight into the field of criminology and develop specific interests within the field through relevant and practical work-based or research-based experience. Internships will develop students report writing and research skills, will link the knowledge gained throughout prior criminology and criminal Justice courses with its practical application, and will help guide career aspirations.
