Course overview

This course will familiarise students with a range of research methodologies and methods appropriate to a range of creative disciplines. Students will develop advanced knowledge in the theories and practices of research methods and identify their application in creative disciplines as part of becoming an ethical practitioner. Students will apply knowledge and skills in literature searches or archival research, defining a researchable topic, writing a literature review and research proposal, and identifying issues and techniques in the design of small-scale research projects.
