Course overview
This course will engage with professional practitioners, business, industry and government organisations in the development of Illustration and Animation projects. To consolidate professionalise student design knowledge and expertise through experiential studio projects and direct industry engagement. Students will apply their knowledge through individualised creative and industry-oriented projects to a professional standard. Student projects will involve work integrated opportunities, projects involving external stakeholders; professionally oriented projects; projects based on competition or award briefs. Through direct interaction with industry alongside project-based approaches, students will gain insight into the expected professional behaviour of Illustrators and Animators.

- Produce projects, material and documentation at a professional standard
- Show capacity to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Analyse and evaluate professional knowledge in a studio environment
- Identify commercial opportunities and expectations in the fields of Illustration and Animation
- Communicate clearly about creative work in a variety of forms
