Course overview

This course consolidates students understanding of single and sequential picture making processes. It examines approaches to developing a critical professional studio practice that can problem solve, idea generate and experiment, responding to complex illustration design problems. The course examines the role and influence Illustrators have on communication within social and cultural contexts. Skills in illustrative media and techniques will be further developed emphasising autonomous working methods that align with design processes and key industry practices.
