Course overview
This course will familiarise students with a range of research methodologies, methods and projects appropriate to related creative disciplines. Students will develop advanced knowledge in theories, practices and research methods and employ them within their chosen discipline as part of becoming an ethical practitioner. Students will undertake individual research projects aligned with research proposals in their chosen creative specialisation.
Course learning outcomes
- Formulate and implement independent research on a chosen topic
- Formulate a theoretical and ethical framework for creative research and/or practice
- Generate and communicate a comprehensive analytical account of the key theoretical, technical, and ethical concerns of creative research proposal(s)
