Course overview
This course will develop knowledge and expertise in research methods and practice within a creative specialisation. In conjunction with their honours supervisor, students will identify, develop and articulate knowledge of an area for honours study from their related creative specialisation. Students will develop skills to conduct preliminary investigation of a topic suitable for research.
Course learning outcomes
- Conduct preliminary investigative research of a research proposal
- Apply relevant theoretical and practical knowledge to develop preliminary research in their field of study
- Analyse methodological approaches to convert research into relevant documentable outcomes
