Course overview
This course aims to develop foundational knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security. It explores the Internet protocol stack to illustrate key principles across the data link, network, transport, and application layers. Topics include IP addressing, routing, reliable transport, congestion and flow control, and common application-layer protocols. Through hands-on lab activities, students will design, configure, and secure small to medium-sized networks, gaining practical skills in both network implementation and security.
