Course overview
This immersive industry based course, delivered on-site at Rising Sun Pictures, will build upon students’ existing visual effects knowledge, and familiarises students with professional practice in the visual effects industry. In this course, and building on the skills developed in Plate Preparation Techniques and Introduction to 3D Tracking, students will undertake up to four advanced production projects that will emulate the processes of a production schedule. Students will be required to extend their paint, rotoscoping and tracking skills in order to produce a high quality, finished project for inclusion on their showreel, and to present to peers and RSP staff at the conclusion of the course. By the completion of the course, students will have acquired the skills required to produce industry standard 3D tracked film sequences.
