Course overview

This course is designed to empower students with foundational skills in programming and problem-solving that underpin modern Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) libraries and workflows. Throughout this course, students will develop the ability to implement core computational procedures and manipulate structured data to meet AIML-oriented requirements. Enrolling in this course will provide students with a structured progression from essential programming concepts to modular design and vectorised computation, setting a solid foundation for writing efficient, maintainable, and readable code in support of common AIML functionalities and development practices.

  • Python Essentials
  • Aiml Computation
  • Data Manipulation

Course learning outcomes

  • Design and implement algorithmic solutions in code that meet specified AI Machine Learning (AIML) functionality requirements
  • Generate modularised code structures to support implementation of AI Machine Learning (AIML) workflows.
  • Apply systematic debugging and testing techniques to ensure the functionality and reliability.
  • Illustrate best practices in programming through coding style standards and course code documentation.
