Course overview
Students undertake an internship of 15 days/3 weeks full-time (or up to 16 weeks part-time) in an industry setting linked to their field of study where the skills and knowledge developed in preparatory courses can be applied. The internship requires reflection on the application of their field of study knowledge and skills in a professional context and the development and reinforcement of professional competency.
Course learning outcomes
- Apply principles, techniques, and professional practice skills relevant to the Work Integrated Learning experience
- Operate independently or as an effective member or leader of a diverse team using effective communication skills
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, professional behaviour, and accountability appropriate for professional practice
