Course overview
This course will acquaint students with current research directions in Information Technology. Students will be exposed to research discussions, gain an understanding of the research process, and learn how new knowledge and techniques are created. They will also develop insight into how scientists and researchers approach new problems. Additionally, students will learn to seek information actively and systematically, study research on a specific topic, and present a summary of their investigations.

- Investigate current research in IT
- Critically review state-of-the-art research and technology and evaluate the impact on their careers
- Assimilate research and disseminate the knowledge to a wider audience
