Course overview

The course aims to familiarise students with professional practice and industry standards in digital compositing for film and visual effects, and provides the theory, skills, and techniques to produce complex visual effects sequences. During the course, students will develop an understanding of key compositing techniques and practices, and will build advanced skills in industry standard software. Assessment tasks will allow students to apply their learning within key areas including colour correction, rotoscoping, keying, and tracking.
