Course overview

This course develops students' capacity to design and execute rigorous research in the field of International Business. It is divided into two parts. Part A emphasises the formulation of a theoretically grounded research question through systematic literature review and preliminary empirical analysis. Students will develop and refine appropriate research methodologies to investigate the research problem, presenting their emerging research frameworks for critical evaluation and approval. The focus is on establishing conceptual and methodological foundations that ensure coherence between research design, theoretical contributions, and the broader objectives of advanced scholarship in International Business. The research problem is further developed and investigated in Research in International Business - Part B.
