Course overview
This course aims to uplift students’ creativity knowledge and practical skills to develop and manage innovative solutions to complex issues identified in the modern workplace and for societies in general. The course will do more than reinforcing the vague notions of innovation and creativity as buzzwords but will provide students a practical toolkit to create and exploit innovation opportunities in organisations via project-based tasks.
Course learning outcomes
- Develop key knowledge in creativity and innovation as well as relevant skills through the application of appropriate tools and techniques
- Analyse the nature of creative leadership, innovation culture and organisational settings that enhances collaborative creativity and innovation development
- Understand the importance of creativity and innovation process to entrepreneurial and business activities and ecosystems
- Acquire the capability to lead collaborative team and creative environment in the business organisation context for potential innovation development
- Understand co-creative processes and individual creative roles for sustainable innovation development in the context of social-economic challenges
